The rules of the road for Pick Me Pets.

By creating an account, reserving a puppy, or otherwise using Pick Me Pets, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Pick Me Pets is a marketplace. We help you find puppies from independent breeders, take a deposit on the breeder's behalf, and pass that deposit through to them via Stripe Connect. We're not the breeder. The adoption contract you sign at pickup is between you and the breeder.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction. We may decline service or cancel reservations from accounts that violate these terms.

• Provide accurate information during reservation and pickup.
• Don't misrepresent your living situation, ability to care for a puppy, or your intended use of the puppy (no breeding mills, resale on classifieds, or commercial activity without the breeder's explicit consent).
• Treat breeders, support staff, and other users with respect.
• Don't scrape, copy, or republish listings or breeder contact details outside of our platform.

When you reserve a puppy, you authorize Pick Me Pets to charge your card the deposit listed on the puppy's page. The remaining balance is paid directly to the breeder at pickup, in the form they've specified (typically cash, certified check, or Stripe).

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Breeders are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including health records, parents, prices, and pickup terms. Pick Me Pets vets new breeders for legitimacy but does not visit kennels or independently verify every claim. If something seems off, contact us.

The Pick Me Pets name, logo, design system, and original content are owned by us. Photos and descriptions of puppies are owned by the breeder who uploaded them. You may not copy or reuse any of this content without permission.

• If your breeder cancels for any reason, you get a full refund.
• If the puppy fails a veterinary exam within the breeder's health guarantee window, you may swap or refund per the breeder's contract.
• If your card is fraudulently used, we'll issue an immediate refund and work with Stripe and your bank to resolve the dispute.

Pick Me Pets is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat, though we work hard to make it all three.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pick Me Pets' total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the deposit you paid for the reservation in question. We're not responsible for veterinary expenses, lost wages, emotional damages, or other consequential losses.

You may close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your obligations under any active reservation or adoption contract remain in effect.

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced on this page and emailed to registered users. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
